A strategic plan shouldn’t be something you create, approve, and put on a shelf.
Get Your Strategic Plan Off the Shelf is a practical, interactive series for people who want to understand strategic planning—and learn how to turn mission, vision, and big ideas into strategy that actually gets used.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, working with pieces of a plan, trying to breathe life into a plan that never became part of the work, or want to build your strategic-planning skills, this series will meet you where you are.
Through guided exercises, practical tools, real-world examples, and conversation with other participants, you’ll work through the strategic-planning process from readiness through implementation. You’ll leave with tools you can use to ask better questions, engage stakeholders, establish meaningful priorities, and turn strategy into action.
Come as an individual or as part of a team. This series is designed for nonprofit and business leaders, board members, staff, consultants, social entrepreneurs, public-sector professionals, students, interns, emerging leaders—and anyone interested in using strategic planning to help create greater good.
